Visited in October. Very nice campsite . Friendly staff. Good facilities. Decent pitches. On site bar/ restaurant/ shop . Excellent access to cycle routes into the salt marshes and to the coast. Port St Louis nice cycle ride away using the free for pedestrians/ cyclist chain ferry . Only one negative was being charged 12 euro admin fee to book ahead .

Super setting, small scale camping. We pitched our tent but the tent bungalows looked very nice. Wifi only in reception. Great pool& other for kids. Dont book or camp close to the street, noise at night from a factory. Toilets, showers top!

Nestled within a serene wilderness, this camping site is a true natural gem that beckons outdoor enthusiasts with its captivating charm. Our recent visit to this picturesque locale left us enchanted and revitalized, and we are thrilled to share the highlights of our unforgettable camping experience. The camping site boasts an abundance of nature that will undoubtedly captivate your senses. Towering, ancient trees create a lush canopy overhead, filtering the sunlight into a mesmerizing play of dappled shadows. A gentle stream meanders through the landscape, providing a soothing soundtrack to our outdoor adventure. Whether you're an avid hiker, a keen birdwatcher, or simply in search of a peaceful escape, the rich biodiversity of this natural haven will leave you awe-inspired. The atmosphere here is truly idyllic. It exudes a profound sense of tranquility, where the worries of the world melt away. The whispers of rustling leaves and the occasional melodious bird call become your companions, inviting you to unwind and find solace in the simple beauty of nature. If you're yearning for a respite from the chaos of modern life, this camping site offers an oasis of calm. Remarkably, this camping site is easily accessible. Nestled in a remote corner of this wilderness, reaching it is a breeze. Well-maintained roads guide you straight to the campsite entrance, sparing you from the navigational challenges that can mar an otherwise perfect camping trip. Whether you're a seasoned camper or a novice seeking adventure, the convenience of reaching this site enhances your overall experience. Furthermore, the proximity to stores adds a practical touch to the experience. While we fully embraced our natural surroundings, we appreciated the convenience of having stores nearby. A short drive led us to a charming local market where we could stock up on groceries, camping supplies, and other essentials with ease. This thoughtful consideration ensures that you can address any unexpected needs without venturing too far from the campsite's beauty. In conclusion, our visit to this camping site was a captivating journey into the heart of nature. With its stunning natural surroundings, serene ambiance, easy accessibility, and convenient proximity to stores, it offers a harmonious blend of rustic wilderness and modern comfort. Whether you seek a peaceful retreat or an adventure-filled escape, this camping site promises a delightful experience for campers of all backgrounds.

The campsite itself is quite nice (Apart from the dirty showers). Its a beautiful place, our permanent tent was very comfortable and the first day was just good. However, the restaurant is rented out as a party location. Until two o'clock in the morning, music was played incredibly loud (the party guests screamed until 3am) and the third-rate DJ constantly yelled into his microphone (no DJ with a last vestige of dignity should have a microphone in his equipment at all. With it you rather belong on the fairground at the bumper cars). We have a 1.5 year old daughter. It was so loud that we emptied the car, folded down the seats and put an air mattress inside. I had to sleep with the little one a good distance away in the car because she couldn't stand the noise. While checking in with a toddler, nobody warned us that a massive party was planed. At the reception I was told that unfortunately nothing could be done, because the campsite had nothing to do with the restaurant on its premises (the campsite even advertises the restaurant on its homepage). The subwoofer were in a distance of around 30m to our tent. Other guests told me that the police had to be called and this party situation is a regular thing twice a week. There is also an animal enclosure right next to the DJ booth (donkey, llama, pigs, rabbits and ducks). Loud music next to the animals is massive animal cruelty. The worst camping experience of my life.

Fabulous campsite just on the edge of the village. Easy walking distance to shops, including a great boulangerie and a couple of local restaurants. The campsite restaurant was so good we ate there every evening, possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had! Facilities were great, always hot water. We stayed on a motor home pitch which had a wooden canopy for shade (also good for hanging washing!) lovely driftwood theme throughout the site. Pool area is beautiful with changing rooms and loungers. Campsite is well placed for visiting Camargue in vehicles or cycles. Only downside was the WiFi which was only available at reception.. so that’s why people seem to hang around there!

Actually not too bad of a camping, and I liked the driftwood vibe. Clean sanitair (but no soap or toilet paper). Biggest downside were the mosquitos, but that is to be expected in a swamp. The 1 star is for the last minute of our stay. We booked way in advance for 3 nights, but upon arrival asked if we could make it only 2 nights, as our plans have changed. Then they said no problem, we’ll fix it when you check out. But as you can guess, at the day of check-out there was another person (older male) and the nice lady that said it would be ok was not around and apparently didn’t leave a note to the other person. He pointed at the conditions and was very firm in that it was not possible so we left feeling robbed of > €40,- and accused of lying, which does not feel good. I hope they get their communication (with each other€ together and prevent this from happening to others. Best of luck, Bas

A nice campsite that is soured by the service. One to avoid unless there are no alternatives. …
